The Ravens will now represent the conference at the Division III Men’s Golf National Championship which begins on May 10. That tournament will be held in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. and will be played at Mission Inn Resort & Club.
After leading by 11 strokes on day one, Rosemont was able to maintain their distance from their opponents. The squad was led by Sam Reynolds whose 79 on day two gave him a two day low total of 153 (+11) and the title of Rookie of the Year.
It was his teammate Liam O’Rourke who turned in one of the low cards of the day as the sophomore shot a 76 (+5). Matching that day-two score was Penn State Harrisburg’s Matthew Redman and Penn College’s Gavin Baer. Baer would finish with a 159 (+17) overall which earned the freshman Rookie of the Year status.
