Despite the 0-1-1 record, Gonzalez excelled through her 180 minutes in goal for the Nittany Lions. In the 1-0 loss to Arcadia, Gonzalez turned aside a season-best 10 shots and only allowed a goal on a penalty kick. She backed up that performance with a two-save performance against Penn State Harrisburg, a game which ended in a scoreless draw.
