Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

Maina-Itegi picked up his first weekly nod of the spring semester (second overall) as he claimed three victories over the course of the week. The freshman combined with Weston Weaver to win 8-0 at first doubles against McDaniel University. He would then be topped in a tie-breaker, 9-8 (10-2), in the top flight in singles. Maina-Itegi avanged the loss in the squad’s next match against Hood College, winning 6-0, 7-5 at first singles after an 8-1 (with Weaver) at first singles.
