High School Montoursville Player of the Week Peyton Mussina / Jr / Penn College / Montoursville, Pa. / Montoursville HS Mussina finished 2nd out of 69 players at the Northeast Shootout and t-14 in a 90-player field in Altoona this week as Penn College had a busy week on the links. Mussina opened the week at the Northeast Shootout in Wilmington, Del. with a first-round low score of 67 and followed up with an afternoon round of 74. He was one of two golfers below par on Monday and came back Tuesday morning shooting even par for a 212 (-1) total for the two-day, three-round tournament. On Friday, Mussina shot a 76 and a tie for 14th place. This is the sixth Athlete of the Week honor for Mussina (October 10, 2023, October 3, 2022, September 19, 2023, October 4, 2022 and October 25, 2022) who finished the 2022-23 season as a First Team All-United East honoree after a second-place finish at the league championship meet in April.
