Peyton Mussina finished atop of the United East Fall Preview on Monday, October 7th, hosted by Wilson College and Chambersburg Country Club. Mussina led the field of 36 players with a 1-over 74 on the par 73 6,962-yard course. This is the third straight year that Mussina has won the Fall Preview after carding a 5-over-par 75 at the Philmont Country Club last year and an even-par 71 at the Hanover Country Club in 2022.
This is the eighth Athlete of the Week honor for Mussina over his career. The 2023-24 season saw Mussina win the Fall Preview en route to winning the United East Championship by five strokes. Nationally, Mussina finished tied 17th at the NCAA National Championships, the highest finish by a golfer at the NCAA Championships in league history. After the Championships, Mussina earned an All-Region honor, the first for Penn College.
