Jordan Carpenter had a strong showing during Penn State Harrisburg's 2-0 week. In her program debut, the forward scored a game-high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the field to go along with nine rebounds, five steals, and two blocks in a win over King's (Pa.) on Wednesday night. The grad student followed it up with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double in a victory at Misericordia on Saturday afternoon. For the week, she averaged 22 points on 72 percent shooting and 9.5 rebounds per game.
This is the first United East Player of the Week award for Carpenter, who is a graduate transfer student from the University of Mary Washington. With the Eagles, Carpenter was a 1,000-point scorer, a three-time All-Conference honoree, the 2024 C2C Conference Player and Defensive Player of the Year, two-time All-Region honoree, and two-time Preseason All-American.
