2024 Men's Basketball Championship Field Set

LATHAM, N.Y. - The 2024 United East Men’s Basketball Championship field of twelve is set, as the League schedule came to a close on Wednesday evening.

Penn State Harrisburg earned the No. 1 seed in the Volt Division after finishing the season 11-1 in divisional play and the divisional regular season crown.

Wilson College earned the No. 1 seed in the Skye Division after Tuesday night’s dramatic buzzer-beater over Notre Dame of Maryland.  The Phoenix finished the regular season with a 13-3 Skye Division record and a divisional regular season championship.

Lancaster Bible College and Bryn Athyn College earned the No. 2 seeds in the Volt and Skye division, respectively.  Lancaster Bible earned the No. 2 seed in the Volt with a 10-2 conference divisional record.  Bryn Athyn is the No. 2 seed in the Skye after finishing the season 12-4 in the Skye and winning the tiebreaker over Saint Elizabeth by virtue of a 2-0 head-to-head record over SEU. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in each division have earned a first-round bye and home-court advantage.

In the Volt Division, No. 6 Gallaudet will travel to No. 3 St. Mary’s of Maryland while No. 5 Penn State Berks will travel to No. 4 Penn College in the quarterfinals.  The lowest remaining seed will advance to the divisional semifinals on Monday, February 18 at No. 1 Penn State Harrisburg, while the highest remaining seed will play at No. 2 Lancaster Bible College.  Volt Division finals will be held at the highest remaining seed on Wednesday, February 21.

In the Skye Division, No. 6 Valley Forge will travel to No. 3 Saint Elizabeth while No. 5 Cairn will travel to No. 4 Keystone in the quarterfinals. Valley Forge earned the No.6 seed after a tiebreaker with Rosemont by Results Against Divisional Teams in Descending Order. The Patriots went 1-1 against Cairn while the Ravens went 0-2 on the season.

The lowest remaining seed will advance to the divisional semifinals on Monday, February 18 at No. 1 Wilson, while the highest remaining seed will play at No. 2 Bryn Athyn.  Skye Division finals will be held at the highest remaining seed on Wednesday, February 21.

Divisional champions will meet in the 2024 United East Men’s Basketball Championship Game on Saturday, February 24, hosted at the home of the Volt Division champion.
