2024 Softball Championship Field Set

LATHAM, N.Y. - The 2024 United East Softball field is set, as the League schedule came to a close on Sunday afternoon.

Wilson College earned the No. 1 seed in the Skye Division after a doubleheader sweep on Sunday afternoon over Cedar Crest to finish Skye Division play with a 13-3 record and collect the regular season divisional title. 
 
Penn State Harrisburg earned the No. 1 seed in the Volt Division after sweeping Penn State Abington on Sunday to finish the season with a 15-5 divisional record.  Penn State Harrisburg earned the 1-seed on a tiebreaker with Penn College, who also finished 15-5 in league play.  Though the teams split the season series with two wins and two losses, Harrisburg had a +3-run differential in those four games to take the tiebreak.
 
Rosemont College and Penn College earned the No. 2 seeds in the Skye and Volt Divisions, respectively.  Rosemont earned the No. 2 seed in the Skye with a 12-4 record after a sweep of Valley Forge on Saturday afternoon.  Penn College is the No. 2 seed in the Volt after splitting with Lancaster Bible on Saturday to finish the conference regular season with a 15-5 league record.  The No. 1 seeds in each division will host the divisional finals in a double-elimination final four format to begin on Friday, May 3 at campus sites.
 
In the Skye Division, Notre Dame of Maryland University has earned the No. 3 seed after finishing with an 11-5 record.  Keystone College has earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 seed Clarks Summit in a single-elimination quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday, May 1.  The winner of the 4 / 5 matchup will advance to the Divisional Finals to be hosted at Wilson College beginning Friday, May 3.  
 
On the Volt Division side, Penn State Berks has earned the No. 3 seed after finishing with a 13-7 record.  Penn State Abington has earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Lancaster Bible in a single-elimination quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday, May 1.  The winner of the 4 / 5 matchup will advance to the Divisional Finals to be hosted at Penn State Harrisburg beginning Friday, May 3.  
 
Divisional champions will meet in the 2024 United East Softball Championship Series beginning on Friday, May 10.  The Championship Series is a best-of-3 hosted on the campus of the Volt Division Champion. The winner of the Championship Series will be named United East Champion and awarded the Automatic Qualifier to the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
