It was another tremendous year for the back-to-back United East Player of the Year, leading not only the league but also nearing the top in the country in a number of statistical categories. The outside piled up 509 kills this season which ranked fifth in the nation while averaging 4.85 kills per set (4th in the nation). She was efficient as well, leading the conference in hitting percentage at a .320 clip. Worley’s offense was a problem for all opponents as her total points (580.5) and her points per set (5.53) both ranked fifth in Division III.
Nine times this season, the Amarillo, Texas native registered 20+ kills while she hit the 30-kill mark twice. In the Bison win over regionally-ranked Stevens, Worley totaled 30 kills while hitting at a .406 mark. She also aided defensively, as she collected 274 digs across the season.
In addition to her All-America accolade, Worley also earned AVCA All-Region First Team and United East All-Conference First Team honors. Her weekly awards stacked up as well as she was tabbed the United East Offensive Player of the Week four times this season.
Worley’s efforts helped the Bison to another solid year which saw the team post a final record of 24-6 and a Regular Season title.
