Chargers Battle Tough In NCAA Championship

LEXINGTON, Va. - The Lancaster Bible College men’s volleyball team fell to No. 8 Messiah University, 3-1 (26-28, 25-20, 25-21, 25-18), in the Second Round of the 2025 NCAA Championship on Friday evening. With the result, the Chargers finish the season with a 23-8 record and the title of United East Champions.

The Chargers turned the tides over the nationally-ranked Falcons quickly as they took down Messiah with extra points in the opening sets. Messiah bounced back though and was able to capture the next three sets. Most of the Lancaster Bible offense came from the middle as Kevin Bryant racked up a team-high 10 kills. Carson Hoover and Jordan Yoder also pitched in as they collected nine and eight, respectively. Facilitating the offense was Tyler Martin, who ended the game with 35 helpers.

Yoder topped the squad in the back row as he piled up 10 digs. At the net, Jaiden Flanagan led the squad with five total blocks.
