LATHAM, N.Y. – The United East Conference has announced its 2026 Women's Flag Football All-Conference Teams and major award winners. The All-Conference Teams are two teams made up of seven offensive players and seven defensive players. Four major awards have also been handed out including the Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year.
Major Award Winners
Player & Rookie of the Year - Citrine Lummer (Gallaudet University)
Defensive Player of the Year - Jordan Carpenter (Penn State Harrisburg)
Coach of the Year - Emelia Beldon (Gallaudet University)
Lummer was a standout two-way player for Gallaudet to earn both Player and Rookie of the Year honors. The Bison's top receiving threat averaged nearly 12 yards per catch and finished the season with 112 catches for 1,316 yards and 15 touchdowns. She also ran five times for 47 yards and a score and completed 4-of-10 passes for 30 yards and another TD. Lummer eclipsed 100 yards receiving 11 times during the season. She hauled in 18 catches for 142 yards against Penn State Harrisburg in the inaugural United East Championship Game. On the defensive side of the ball, Lummer posted 77 tackles (72 solo, 5 assists) and picked off 11 passes, including two against Cedar Crest College in the conference semifinal.
Carpenter was a ball-hawk in the secondary for the Conference Champion Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions. She led her squad with nine interceptions and eight pass breakups while piling up 33 tackles (32 solo, 1 assist). Carpenter recorded a season-high six tackles in a game twice, both against Gallaudet during the regular season and had three tackles in the conference semifinal against Cairn and in the championship game against the Bison. She also snagged two interceptions in a game three times in the regular season.
Beldon was named Coach of the Year after guiding her Bison team to an undefeated, 8-0, conference mark and 11-1 overall in the regular season. Beldon's offense averaged over 32 points per game while the defense locked down opponents to just over a touchdown per game (7.79). The Bison offense tallied 4,131 total yards (3,241 passing, 890 rushing) and scored 67 touchdowns compared to just 2,101 yards and 17 touchdowns given up to earn the No. 1 seed in the United East playoffs.
