2001 Men's Cross Country Pre-Season Coaches' Poll
PAC Coaches Pick Cabrini, Misericordia in Cross Country Polls
Aston, PA - The Cabrini men's cross country team and the Misericordia women's team are picked to repeat as Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championships, according to the 2001 PAC Preseason coaches poll.
Cabrini has won four consecutive PAC men's cross country titles and finished tied with Misericordia in this year's poll with 45 points. The Cavaliers earned the favorite's role by edging the Cougars in first place votes, 5-3.
Marywood is third with 39 points and Wesley is fourth with 30 points.
On the women's side, Misericordia received seven first place votes to top the poll with 79 points. Immaculata, the runner-up a year ago, had three first place votes and is second with 73 points.
Cabrini and Wesley tied for third with 60 points and Marywood is fifth with 48 points.
