2002 Men's Cross Country Pre-Season Coaches' Poll
PAC Coaches Pick Misericordia to Repeat
Aston, PA - The College Misericordia men’s cross-country team is picked to repeat as Pennsylvania Athletic Conference champion, according to the 2002 PAC pre-season coach’s poll.
The Cougars received five first place votes and earned 47 points while Cabrini, last year's runner-up, finished second with 37 points, including one first place vote.
"We’re honored to be chosen as the favorites by the PAC coaches,” said Misericordia head coach Frank Kinkead. “We expect the league to be strong this year and we realize duplicating last year's accomplishments will be a tough challenge.”
Marywood got one first place vote and is tied for third with Wesley with 32 points while Gwynedd-Mercy is fifth with 22 points.
