2014 Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week

Angel Chimal Rodriguez / JR / Immaculata University / Kennett Square, PA / Kennett
Rodriguez took home top honors at the Delaware Valley College Invitational on Saturday. He finished the 8K course in a time of 26:22.51, a full minute over the second-place finisher. This marked the third win of his career.

For the second week in-a-row, Angel Chimal Rodriguez was the field's top individual runner. The Mighty Macs' 8th-place performance at the Cairn Highlander Invitational was highlighted by
Rodriguez, who was the top finisher with a time of 27:53.

Angel Chimal Rodriguez came in second among 91 runners at the Delaware Invitational. He finished the 8K course in a time of 27:15.15 to capture his third conference honor in a row.

Justin Clarke / SR / Keystone College / Factoryville, PA / Lackawanna Trail
Clarke led Keystone by finishing 20th out of 233 runners in the 8K race at Saturday's Long Short Invitational hosted by Dickinson College. The senior set a personal best time for the course by clocking in at 26:47.07 to help the Giants place 20th out of 36 teams in the event.

Clarke placed fifth out of 199 runners in Saturday's 8K race at the Lock Haven Invitational. The senior's time of 25:43.1 was just 18 seconds off of a personal record and helped Keystone finish 12th out of 14 teams in the highly competitive event which featured Division I and II programs. The Giants also finished ahead of their only CSAC opponent in the race, Marywood University.

For the fourth time this season, Angel Chimal Rodriguez took home top honors after winning the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic. Rodriguez ran the 8K course in a time of 27:27.21 to cross the finish line first out of 72 runners.

Devon Clarke / FY / Marywood University / Factoryville, PA / Lackawanna Trail
Devon Clarke recorded his second Top 50 8K time of the season at the Westfield State College Invitational in Massachusetts. Clarke ran a 28:11.08 for the 42nd quickest time in program history. Clarke finished 82nd in the Westfield field.

Clarke finished 13th out of 355 runners on Saturday at the Gettysburg College Invitational with a time of 26:18.3. The senior's finish helped Keystone place 25th out of 34 teams in the 8K event.

Rodriguez won the Immaculata Invite for the second time in his career as he took top medalist honors for the fifth time this season. He ran the 4K course in a time of 13:23 to finish 34 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
