2006 PAC Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Pre-Season Poll

PAC Coaches Select Cabrini as Pre-Season Favorite in Men’s Lacrosse

Aston , PA – Cabrini College’s men’s lacrosse team has been selected as the pre-season favorite in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) coaches’ poll. The five-time defending champion Cavaliers received seven of the eight first-place votes and a total of 63 points to finish ahead of Villa Julie College.

Villa Julie, the 2005 runner-up, earned the other first-place vote and a total of 55 points to finish in second place in the poll.

"It is always a great honor to be picked by your peers to win the Conference,” Cabrini head coach Steve Colfer said. “This year, like every year, it is going to be extremely difficult to defend our title. We hope our kids play well enough to give themselves that opportunity.”

Wesley College(50), Shenandoah University (37), Misericordia University (33), Neumann College (20), Alvernia College(15)and Eastern University(15) rounded out the voting.
