2001 PAC Men’s Golf Pre-Season Coaches’ Poll
Wesley Picked to Three-peat in PAC Golf
Dallas, PA— Two-time defending champion Wesley College is the unanimous favorite to win its third straight Pennsylvania Athletic Conference golf crown, according to the PAC Golf Coaches preseason poll.
The Wolverines earned all seven first-place votes for a total of 49 points.
"I'm happy for our team to be ranked first in the league," said Wesley head coach Rick McCall. "I think it might encourage us to work hard and I hope it will help our national ranking."
College Misericordia, the runner-up to Wesley the last two years, is picked second with 41 points while Cabrini is third with 33 points. Neumann is next with 26 points and Alvernia is fifth with 25.
Arcadia is ranked sixth with 15 points and Gwynedd-Mercy rounds out the poll with seven points.
