PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Nelson Torres - Immaculata University
Torres helped the Mighty Macs to a pair of CSAC victories to close the regular season on a four-game winning streak and clinch the final spot in the 2011-12 CSAC Championship Tournament. The junior averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals in the two victories, while tallying three steals and connecting for a .556 clip from the field. In Monday's win over Marywood, Torres went for 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists, before exploding for a 25-point, 12-rebound double-double at Centenary on Wednesday. He went 10-for-16 (.625) from the floor in the win, and added four assists and three steals.
HONOR ROLL:
Cory Lemons - Cabrini College
Lemons led the Cavaliers to a 96-85 victory over second-place Keystone on Wednesday, sealing an undefeated 18-0 CSAC record for Cabrini. The senior point guard posted a double-double with game-highs of 32 points and 13 rebounds, while adding four assists. He went 11-for-12 from the foul line, playing all 40 minutes in the victory.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Malcolm Boone - Keystone College
Boone led the Giants to a 2-1 week, averaging 22.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 blocked shots. In Monday’s four-point loss to Gwynedd-Mercy, he went for 22 points and 13 rebounds, shooting 6-for-10 from the field, while dishing out four assists and blocking three shots. In Wednesday’s win over Marywood, he posted another double-double, with 11 points and 14 rebounds, while blocking four shots to go with four assists. He wrapped up the week with a career-high 34 points, including the 1,000th of his career, in Saturday’s 110-93 win over Centenary. It was his third double-double of the week, as he mixed in 10 rebounds, while shooting 11-for-14 from the field and 12-for-15 from the foul line.
HONOR ROLL:
Dan Dodd - Baptist Bible College
Dodd had a big week for the Defenders as they went 1-1 in CSAC?play. In the two games, he averaged 17.5 points and 14.0 rebounds, while adding three assists, three steals, and two blocks. In Wednesday’s narrow defeat to Gwynedd-Mercy, Dodd recorded game-highs of 22 points and 18 rebounds, going 8-for-14 from the floor and 6-for-7 from the foul line. In Saturday’s win at Marywood, he picked up his second double-double in a row, grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds to go with 13 points, on 4-for-5 shooting from the floor and a 5-for-6 mark from the stripe.
Dan DelConte - Gwynedd-Mercy College
DelConte averaged 21.7 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.3 steals in a 3-0 week for Gwynedd-Mercy. On Monday, he scored 22 points, with four assists and three steals, in a 100-96 win over Keystone. Two nights later against Baptist Bible, he netted 16 points with five steals, before capping the week on Saturday with a 27-point, five-assist showing against Neumann, including a perfect 8-for-8 mark at the foul line.
Rob Siter - Immaculata University
Siter helped Immaculata keep its playoff hopes alive, leading the Macs to a pair of victories. In Tuesday’s win over Philadelphia Biblical, he went 9-for-12 from the field and 3-for-4 from the foul line en-route to a game-high 21 points, while adding three steals and four boards. On Saturday, Siter scored 16 points, with eight rebounds and two steals, in the Mighty Macs’ 59-53 win over Rosemont

Dan DelConte - Gwynedd-Mercy College
DelConte earns his second Player of the Week honor from the CSAC after leading the Griffins to a pair of conference wins, as he averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.0 steals. In the Griffins' 93-79 win over Centenary on Wednesday, he posted a game-high 22 points, while adding six steals and six assists. In Saturday's 80-62 win over Immaculata, the senior totaled 19 points, five assists, and two steals. In the two games, he went 6-for-14 from long distance, and 13-for-15 from the foul line.
HONOR ROLL:
Mark Blount - Neumann University
In two Neumann wins, Blount averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks, while hitting on 80 percent (17-for-21). In Wednesday’s victory over Immaculata, he scored 17 points with 10 rebounds, while adding six blocks to set a new Neumann single-season mark (70). In Saturday’s 79-59 win over Philadelphia Biblical, Blount posted 18 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, going 8-for-10 from the field.
Justin Chaney - Rosemont College
Chaney averaged 19.0 points during the Ravens’ 1-1 week. On Wednesday against conference-leading Cabrini, Chaney scored 19 points with four rebounds. In Saturday’s 93-88 upset win over Keystone, the junior again posted 19 points, going 7-for-10 from the floor and 2-for-3 from behind the arc, while adding three assists.

Kenneth Hardnett - Keystone College
Harndett earns his third CSAC?Player of the Week honor for the season, after helping the Giants extend their winning streak to 12 games with a pair of victories on the week. The forward averaged 17.5 points and 11.5 rebounds, while totaling nine steals and nine assists and shooting a blistering .813 (13-for-16) from the field in the two wins. In Wednesday’s 100-82 triumph over Gwynedd-Mercy, he scored 19 points with 18 rebounds and six assists, going 5-for-6 from the field. Three days later, he scored 16 points, on 8-for-10 shooting, while adding seven steals and five rebounds in just 23 minutes of play in Keystone’s 100-57 win over Philadelphia Biblical.
HONOR ROLL:
Frank Champion - Gwynedd-Mercy College
Champion averaged 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, while shooting .714 (15-for-21) from the floor, in the Griffins’ 1-1 week. On Wednesday against Keystone, he scored 15 points with six rebounds, before going for a game-high 24 points in just 24 minutes, on a 10-for-11 effort from the field, in Saturday’s win over Marywood.

Mike Kelly - Keystone College
Kelly helped the Giants to three wins, including a pair of CSAC victories, by averaging 17.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. After scoring 11 points with five rebounds and three assists in Wednesday’s comeback win over Immaculata, Kelly went for a career-high 23 points, on 8-for-13 shooting, with four assists and two steals. ?Less than 24 hours later, he helped the Giants to a 94-82 non-conference win over Morrisville State. He connected on four three-pointers and scored 17 points, while adding six assists and five rebounds.

Lemons followed up that performance with 27 points, six assists, and five rebounds, while going 5-for-7 from behind the arc, in Saturday’s 93-70 victory at Baptist Bible.

Kenneth Hardnett - Keystone College
Hardnett led Keystone to a 2-0 week, averaging 23.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 4.0 steals, while shooting a robust .730 from the floor. In Monday’s 107-72 win over Phila. Biblical, he scored 27 points, going 11-for-12 from the floor, while also pulling down nine rebounds to go with six steals and four assists in just 23 minutes of action. He capped off the week by leading five players in double figures in a 78-60 win over Rosemont on Saturday, going for 20 points and 15 rebounds for his tenth double-double of the year.
HONOR ROLL:
Rob Siter - Immaculata University
In two games for the Mighty Macs, Siter averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, while shooting .583 from the floor. In Monday’s 53-50 win over Baptist Bible, Siter scored 25 pointswith six rebounds, before closing out the week with 26 points and seven rebounds in a 69-62 loss at Neumann on Wednesday.
Matt Lepri - Marywood University
Lepri led the Pacers to a 2-1 week, averaging 18.0 points and 6.3 rebounds. In Monday’s 90-65 win over Gwynedd-Mercy, the senior led all scorers with 25 points, going 9-for-12 from the field. On Wednesday, he again led the Pacers with 14 points, going 3-for-4 from behind the arc, while blocking three shots. Lepri then wrapped up the week with a game-high 15 points, to go with five rebounds, at conference-leading Cabrini.

Cory Lemons - Cabrini College
Lemons had a strong all-around week for the Cavaliers as they picked up a pair of wins. He averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals, while going 4-for-8 from long distance and 11-12 from the foul line. In Cabrini’s 83-66 win over York, the senior narrowly missed a triple-double, posting 19 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. He followed that up on Saturday with 19 points, eight rebounds, and seven helpers, while playing all 40 minutes, in the Cavaliers’ 87-81 win over Immaculata that kept Cabrini undefeated (6-0) in league play.
HONOR ROLL:
Nelson Torres - Immaculata University
In three games on the week, Torres averaged 19.0 points and 7.3 rebounds, while shooting a torrid .622 from the floor. He was named to the Basinger Memorial Tournament (@?Lycoming) All-Tournament Team, lifting Immaculata to the consolation game victory over PSU-Abington with a game-winning shot with less than 20 seconds remaining to cap off a 24-point game. In two tourney games, he averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 boards. In the Mighty Macs’ lone CSAC?game of the week, Torres finished with 22 points, going 7-for-14 from the floor, 2-for-3 from behind the arc, and 6-for-6 from the foul line, in a narrow 87-81 loss to conference leader Cabrini.

Warren Murphy - Centenary College
Murphy averaged 14.3 points for the 2-1 Cyclones, earning a spot on the Centenary College/Comfort Inn All-Tournament Team. In the Cyclones win over The College of NJ on Dec. 27, he poured in 13 points, while adding three steals, before following up with back-to-back 15-point outputs in the Cyclones’ tourney games against St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn and Montclair State.

Dan DelConte - Gwynedd-Mercy College
In the Griffins' 88-78 win over Rowan, DelConte scored a game-high 28 points, including the 1,000th of his career. He went 8-for-13 shooting, with a 10-for-13 stint at the free throw line. He also went 2-for-4 from downtown, while adding four assists and three rebounds.
HONOR ROLL:
Mike Kelly - Keystone College
In Keystone's 98-79 win over Drew University, Kelly recorded a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. He went 6-for-9 from the floor, including 4-for-6 from behind the arc, while going a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe. He also chipped in two assists, two blocks, and a steal in the Friday win.

Boone averaged 20.0 points and 12.5 rebounds as the Giants went 2-0 on the week. In Wednesday’s 83-75 win over Immaculata, he had 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks, while going 9-for-9 from the foul line. In Saturday’s 83-82 win at Neumann, he recorded career-highs with 30 points and 18 rebounds, going 9-for-14 from the floor and 12-for-15 from the line. Seventeen of his 18 rebounds came on the defensive glass.
HONOR ROLL:
Dan DelConte – Gwynedd-Mercy College
DelConte averaged an even 20.0 points for the Griffins on a 3-1 week. He was named MVP of the Harold J. Brodie Tournament, hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology, as he helped the Griffins to the title. He netted 23 of his 29 points in the second half on 9-of-20 shooting and six three-pointers in the 97-93 win over Utica, as the Griffins rallied from a double-digit deficit. The next day against the host Tigers in the title game, he scored 20 points with five assists and three steals in a 69-66 win. In Monday's win over PSU-Berks, he totaled 15 points and four assists and in Wednesday's game against league-leading Cabrini, he scored 16 points.

Cory Lemons - Cabrini College
Lemons led the 11th-ranked Cavaliers to a trio of CSAC victories on the week, averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. In Monday’s 81-77 win over Neumann, he posted 21 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, before scoring 19 points on a 7-for-11 shooting effort in Wednesday’s 82-66 win over Philadelphia Biblical. Lemons wrapped up the week with 18 points and six assists, while scoring the 1,000th point of his collegiate career, in Saturday’s 95-92 victory over Keystone.

Dan DelConte - Gwynedd-Mercy College
DelConte averaged 28 points, five steals, four rebounds, and three assists while shooting .521 from the floor in a 2-1 CSAC week. He also went 26-30 (86%) from the free-throw line. In Monday's win over Baptist Bible, he hit for six three-pointers for 24 points and added eight assists. On Wednesday at Neumann, he poured in 29, while going 16-of-18 from the charity stripe with six boards and five steals. He closed the week by netting a career-high 33 points at Phila. Biblical, on 11-of-17 shooting.
Kenneth Hardnett - Keystone College
Hardnett averaged 20.6 points and 12.6 rebounds for Keystone in its 2-1 week. In Monday’s 91-77 win over Marywood, he recorded a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while adding five steals, four blocks, and four assists. In Wednesday’s 88-80 win over Centenary, he went for 12 points and 10 rebounds, before tying a career high with 26 points, on 9-for-12 shooting, in a 95-92 loss to CSAC?leader Cabrini on Saturday. He also grabbed 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the week, and fifth in six games.
Rob Siter - Immaculata University
Siter helped the Mighty Macs to a 2-1 week in conference play, averaging 17.3 points and 7.0 rebounds. In Monday’s 88-71 win over Philadelphia Biblical, he scored a game-high 23 points, becoming just the second player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points, while also adding eight rebounds and five steals. He added 13 points and nine rebounds in a 64-61 overtime setback to Rosemont on Wednesday, before ending the week with 16 points and eight assists in Saturday’s 97-82 win over Centenary.

Matt Lepri - Marywood University
Lepri helped the Pacers to a 72-69 overtime win over Immaculata on Tuesday in the CSAC opener by scoring 15 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds for the double-double, while also tallying two steals and two assists.
Honor Roll
Jeremy Knowles - Cabrini College
Knowles helped Cabrini hand Widener its first loss of the season on Saturday, a 94-87 Cavalier win in the Neumann Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. The junior guard came off the bench to score 24 points in just 18 minutes of play, going 10-for-18 from the floor, while also posting a game-high eight rebounds to go with two steals.

Player of the Week
Kenneth Hardnett - Keystone College
Hardnett helped Keystone to a 2-1 record to start the season. He recorded a double-double with a 21-point and 10-rebound effort in a 74-60 season opening win at Mount St. Mary College. In a 95-78 victory over Ursinus in the semi-finals of the Chuck Resler Tournament at Rochester, he picked up another double-double with his 25-point and 12-rebound game while shooting .688 (11-16) from the floor and adding four assists. In the title tilt with seventh ranked Rochester, he pulled in nine rebs to go with nine points, five steals and a pair of blocks, while also being named to the All Tournament team.

Corey Lemons - Cabrini College
In the Cavaliers’ 77-65 opening day win over Haverford, Lemons, a junior guard, played all 40 minutes, recording a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while adding six assists and four steals. A d3hoops.com Preseason All-American, Lemons scored 19 of the Cavaliers' 32 first half points.
Mark Blount - Neumann University
Blount, a sophomore forward, led the Knights to a 2-1 week, averaging 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds, while shooting .515 from the floor. He also added 12 blocks in the three contests, becoming the Knights’ all-time career leader with 81, in just 35 games. His week was highlighted by a 14-point, 11-rebound, 5-block effort in Saturday’s win over Kean.
