Scoring got started in the 21st minute courtesy of Harrisburg’s Daniel Fombu. A long outlet pass found the foot of Joey Aman who streaked towards the goal with a defender on his hip. Aman drew out the goalie before sliding a pass across the goal mouth to Fombu who neatly tucked it into the open net. Harrisburg then doubled up their lead with a goal in the 40th minutes. A Lion throw in into their offensive box was cleared away by the Chargers. The clear was gathered by Zach Ullum who drove a hard pass back into the box to Daryl Lucas. Lucas took a one touch turn and was able to blast it by the keeper and Harrisburg would take it’s 2-0 goal into the half.

Early in the second half, the Chargers cut the home team’s lead to just one. On a free kick just outside the box, Tommy Elder looped a ball into the mixer. The ball found its way to Ross Venman who was able to scoot it into the back of the net. The Lions answered back in the 66th minute though as Sebastian Krysztofowicz placed a free kick from just outside the back in between the near post and the keeper. Harrisburg was able to hold onto that lead and clinch the United East Crown.

Nicholas Guiglielmetti got the win in net for Harrisburg, recording three saves in the process.
