KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners on Thursday morning with four United East women’s soccer programs earning recognition.
A total of 382 women's soccer programs across Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA picked up the Team Academic Award for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2021-22 academic year.
Gallaudet University posted the top GPA of the foursome, holding a 3.62 GPA. St. Mary’s College of Maryland was just behind them with a 3.45 GPA. Rounding out the group was Penn College, who posted a 3.42 GPA and Penn State Harrisburg with a 3.36.

The United East has nine NCAA Division III member institutions which include: Gallaudet University, Lancaster Bible College, Morrisville State, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Harrisburg, St. Mary's College of Maryland and Wells College. The United East also includes four associate members in the sport of men’s golf including Clarks Summit University, Rosemont College, Rutgers University – Camden and Wilson College. Clarks Summit University is also an associate member in the sport of men’s tennis.
