LATHAM, N.Y. - In a tightly contested first-round match of the 2024 NCAA men’s soccer tournament, St. Mary’s College fell to Dickinson College 1-0. The Seahawks conclude a fantastic season season 11-7-3.

The two teams fought through a scoreless first half, with Dickinson leading 6-2 in shots. The Seahawks had their first opportunity of the half at 21:18 as Tyler Foti got a shot up high to the right of the net. Braden Kindred then took a shot at 38:07, missing high left. St. Mary’s College goalkeeper Jordon Eckman kept the Seahawks in the game with two key saves as both teams showcased stellar defense.
The second half saw both teams push offensively, each registering six shots. Dickinson broke through in the 70th minute when Jackson Wolf placed a shot into the lower right corner of the net past the Seahawks defense. Despite continued efforts from St. Mary’s, they were unable to respond, ending their tournament run.
