LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its 43rd annual All-America teams for NCAA Division III women's volleyball and for the ninth and tenth time in program history a Gallaudet University student-athlete was recognized. Junior setter Ella Gamble (Cullowhee, N.C.) and sophomore outside hitter Brielle Worley (Amarillo, Texas) were one of 98 named to the 2024 AVCA All-America honorable mention list.

The AVCA named 14 players from across the nation to each of its three teams (First, Second, Third) as well as recognizing the other All-Region first team selections on its honorable mention list.
Gamble and Worley helped Gallaudet to a 30-5 record and a perfect 10-0 conference mark as the Bison went on to capture a second straight United East championship and berth into the 2024 NCAA Division III women's volleyball tournament.
Gamble is a two-time AVCA All-Region selection and two-time United East all-conference first team honoree. Gamble leads NCAA Division III in service aces (121), aces per set (0.98), second in total assists (1,248) and 19th in assists per set (10.15).
Worley, the 2024 United East Player of the Year, makes her AVCA All-America debut. The AVCA All-Region first team and United East all-conference first team honoree was a difference maker for the Bison this season. The UT-Tyler transfer was picked as the AVCA Women's Division III National Player of the Week (Oct. 1). Worley leads NCAA Division III in kills (579) and points (649) and third in points per set (5.55).
Gamble and Worley are the eighth and ninth Bison to earn AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors while Tamara Foronda is the lone Bison to be selected to an AVCA All-America team when she landed on the third team in 2006.
The AVCA has been presenting Division III All-America teams since 1981.
