LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its 2023-24 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Teams for the Volt Division. The All-Conference Teams are made up of six student-athletes on each team, with a First Team and a Second Team awarded for this season. Four major awards have been handed out including Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
All seven Volt Division institutions were represented across the two All-Conference teams. Lancaster Bible led the way with three individuals named All-Conference while Penn State Harrisburg had two members on the First Team. Penn College and St. Mary’s of Maryland each had two members of the All-Conference team, respectively. Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, and Gallaudet were each represented by one member on the teams.

Penn State Harrisburg’s Donyae Baylor-Carroll (Sr. / Harrisburg, Pa.) was named the 2023-24 United East Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year - Volt Division after the senior led the Nittany Lions to a Volt Division regular season championship and an 11-1 conference record. During the campaign, Baylor-Carroll averaged 15.3 points per game in conference play and handed out 5.3 assists per game while leading the conference in steals (43) and steals per game (3.6 steals per game). He scored 30+ points in a game twice, had 5+ steals in a game four times, and handed out 8+ assists in a game twice as well. Baylor-Carroll was named Athlete of the Week six separate times on the season as well as the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week twice.
Connor Storr (FY / Galloway, N.J.) had a strong debut season for Lancaster Bible, averaging 16.8 points per game in conference play while leading the league in Field Goal Percentage, shooting .596 in league games. The center held down the middle as the Chargers finished second in the Volt Division, handing Penn State Harrisburg their only league loss. Storr had a career-high 33 points in a matchup against St. Mary’s on January 30 and pulled down 10 rebounds in that game as Storr was named Defensive Player of the Week for the week of February 5, 2024.
Jon Mack guided the Lancaster Bible team to a 10-2 league record and a second place finish in the Volt Division, and a 16-10 overall record. Lancaster Bible led the United East in Total Points Scored (2204) as well as Scoring Average (84.8) while holding teams to a 76.4 scoring average. This is the third Coach of the Year award for Mack, who has previously won for the 2022 and 2023 season.
