LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Conference has announced its 2024 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams. The All-Conference Teams are made up of thirteen student-athletes on each team with two separate All-Conference teams for this season.
Four major awards have been handed out including Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Five out of the six United East institutions that sponsor Men’s Lacrosse were represented across the two All-Conference teams and major awards.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland led the way with eleven individuals named All-Conference, including both Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year after an undefeated league season.
Penn College had six members on the All-Conference teams, including the Rookie of the Year.
Keystone College was represented by six individuals on the All-Conference teams after making their first playoff appearance in program history. Cairn University and Bryn Athyn College each had two individuals named to the All-Conference teams.

Coach of the Year - Jason Childs (St. Mary’s College of Maryland)
Joshua Martel (So. / Linthicum, Md.) has been named the 2024 United East Offensive Player of the Year after leading the Seahawks to an undefeated season in league play. Martel led the league in Goals with 56; tied for 24th-most Goals Scored in NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse. Martel ranks fourth in the United East after tallying 65 total Points (56 Goals; 9 Assists) and is currently eighth in the country with a .509 Shot Percentage. Martel was the 2023 United East Rookie of the Year and was voted to the First Team in addition to earning Player of the Week twice this season.
Ethan Little (Sr. / Bel Air, Md.) has been named the 2024 United East Defensive Player of the Year after holding down the league’s best defense this spring; only allowing 13 goals in five league games. On the season, Little caused 21 turnovers, picked up 46 ground balls, scored 4 goals, and handed out 5 assists for a total of 9 points on the offensive side of the ledger. Little was the 2023 United East Defensive Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-American while earning Second Team All-Conference in addition to a First Team All-Conference award in 2022.
Aidan McFalls (FY / Gilbertsville, Pa.) had a big first season of collegiate competition and has been named the 2024 United East Rookie of the Year. McFalls ranked second in the United East for goals in conference play, netting 16 in 5 games, and led the league in total points (35) and points per game (7.00). Across the whole season, McFalls led the United East in total points (69; 44 goals, 25 assists). McFalls was named United East Offensive Player of the Week for the week of April 22, 2024.
Jason Childs gilded the St. Mary’s College of Maryland to an undefeated regular season in league play during 2024 and second straight regular season championship. This season, the Seahawks were dominant on both ends of the field, out-scoring opponents 124-13 in conference games. The Seahawks finished the regular season Top 10 in NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse in Assists (5th; 197), Points (6th; 503), Assists per Game (7th; 10.94), Man-Down Defense (7th; .829), and Points per Game (8th; 27.94). Eleven individuals were named All-Conference in 2024, including both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year. This is the second United East Coach of the Year award for Childs, who won previously in 2023.
