LATHAM, N.Y. - The 2025-26 United East Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll has been released with 14 teams included in the rankings. Find the results below:

Sitting atop the poll is Penn State Harrisburg who captured United East titles in 2024. The Lions earned eight first place votes in the poll and will kick off their season with a strong start that includes two opponents who were featured in the preseason national poll (Montclair State and Mount Union).
Sitting behind Harrisburg is Lancaster Bible College, who garnered five first place votes. The Chargers are looking to return to the promised land and nab their first title since the 2023 season.
Notre Dame of Maryland garnered a single first place vote, a quiet feat as the program is just going into its third year. The Gators made noise last season, upsetting a number of teams as they made it to the Championship Final. St. Mary’s College of Maryland rounds out the top four as the Seahawks posted 10 conference wins a year ago.
Last year’s United East Champions, Bryn Athyn College, is no longer sponsoring athletics but their head coach, Sean Westerlund, will have an opportunity to earn a second-straight title as he leads the sixth-ranked Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington this year.
The United East Championship will see 10 teams earn a spot in the postseason with the First Round kicking off on February 18. The Quarterfinal round will follow on February 21 and the semifinal will take place on February 24. The final two teams left will then square off on Saturday February 28 to determine the United East Champion. All games will take place at the higher seed's facility.
