COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Brenna Ziegler of the St. Mary’s College of Maryland field hockey team has been selected to the Division III Senior Team as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) last week. Ziegler joins former Seahawk teammate, Charlotte Horn (2024), as the only United East players to earn this honor.

It was a tremendous year for Ziegler as she helped propel the Seahawks to their second-straight conference title. A powerhouse on offense, the Newark, Del. native piled up 15 goals on the season, scoring in more than half of the team’s contests. She’d also turn in eight assists which helped elevate her points-per-game average to 2.05 (31st best in the country). One of her top performances this year came in the Semifinal Round of the United East Championship as she scored two goals and assisted on three others in a win over Lancaster Bible College.

Ziegler earned plenty of recognition for her efforts including a spot on the All-Conference First Team. She also picked up a pair of Offensive Player of the Week nods.
