COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Eight field hockey student-athletes representing three United East institutions were named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Watchlist, announced Thursday.
Penn State Harrisburg led the conference with five selections, while St. Mary’s College of Maryland placed two student-athletes on the list and Cedar Crest College earned one selection.
The NFHCA Watchlist recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered strong candidates for All-Region and All-America consideration during the upcoming season.
Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and were required to have earned qualifying field hockey recognition during the previous two years. Qualifying distinctions include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team recognition or selection to a United States national or international team roster.
