BRYN ATHYN, PA - The United East crowned a men’s basketball champion on Saturday afternoon as Bryn Athyn College defeated Notre Dame of Maryland on the campus of Bryn Athyn College.  With the win, Bryn Athyn College has earned the automatic qualifier to the upcoming NCAA Championship.

Bryn Athyn will learn their host location and future opponent during the NCAA Selection Show which premiers on Monday, March 3 at noon on NCAA.com.

Bryn Athyn College surged in the second half to claim the United East men's basketball championship, defeating Notre Dame of Maryland 82-69. The Gators started strong, shooting 60% from three-point range in the first half and building a lead before settling for a narrow 40-39 advantage at halftime. However, the Lions responded with a dominant second half, outscoring Notre Dame 43-29 behind improved shooting and tenacious defense. Jalen Parker led the way for Bryn Athyn, posting 22 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists, while Jalen Jackson added 20 points and three steals. Jakir Hampton also contributed 16 points and six boards. Despite a 21-point effort from K’Won Johnson and a solid showing from Ahman Harrison, the Gators couldn't withstand Bryn Athyn’s relentless second-half push. The Lions capitalized on turnovers and second-chance opportunities to secure the conference title and punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
