Bison Drop NCAA Opening Round Contest to NYU

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Gallaudet University dropped its contest against New York University, 102-62, in the Opening Round of the Division III Women’s Basketball Championship Friday evening. With the result, the Bison finish their season with a record of 18-11.

Cam Lexow was a bright point on the Gallaudet roster as her 20 points topped all players on the court. She’d also dish out a team-leading four assists. Rajena Guettler also had a quality outing as she put up 16 points and matched Lexow’s four assists. Underneath the hoop, Hannah Puent led the Bison with nine boards to go along with a pair of blocks and a pair of steals.

Natalie Bruns was the top performer on the women’s side as she scored 18 points while registering seven assists.
