GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has named its Team Academic Excellence Award recipients for the 2025 season and four United East teams earned the honor.

Penn State Abington, Penn State Brandywine, Rosemont College and the University of Valley Forge all earned the distinction. Find the full list of honorees here: ABCA TEAM ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD

To qualify and be recognized with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, a program must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a high school or college team

• Head Baseball Coach must be a current ABCA member

• Team must have a minimum cumulative GPA for the year of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale), 3.75 (on a 5.0 scale) or 83 (on a 100 point scale) during the 2024-25 academic year. GPA may not be rounded up.
