Penn College's Kupsey Named to USILA National Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Owen Kupsey from the Penn College men's lacrosse team has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) National Team of the Week roster for the week ending on March 22, 2026. This is the second United East player to earn this recognition this season (Adam Martin - St. Mary’s College of Maryland).

Kupsey's offensive output, compiling 14 points on 12 goals and two assists led the Wildcats to a pair of nonconference victories. The sophomore attackman posted a team-high eight points with six goals and two assists against Marywood on Wednesday and added six goals at Montclair on Saturday. He also scooped up three ground balls and forced two turnovers in the victories. Kupsey was named the United East Player of the Week, his third of his career.

This season, Kupsey is averaging 3.40 goals per game which ranks him second in the conference and 34th in all of Division III. Penn College returns to action at noon on Saturday as the Wildcats host St. Mary’s College of Maryland in a rematch of the United East Championship Final from the past two years
