MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Eight teams teed off at the 2026 United East Men’s Golf Championship on Friday at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course, Penn College currently holds the team lead while Penn State Harrisburg's Dillon Yinger sits atop the individual leaderboard as he carded the low score of the day with a 69 (-3).

The three-time defending United East Champs had a solid opening round as they scored a 293 (+5) which led the field. Chase Dillman leads the Wildcat pack with a 72 (E) opening round, just three shots behind the leader, while three others are in the top-7.
Penn State Harrisburg's Dillon Young leads all participants as the lone golfer to finish better than par with a first round 69 (-3).
Lancaster Bible's Clar Brubacher also finds himself in contention with an opening round 72 to be tied for second.
Santino Leone of Rutgers-Camden and Rob Pasquarella of Penn State Berks lead their teams with identical first round 73s.
The golfers return to the course on Saturday as they will go 18 more holes to determine the champion. The first golfers tee off at 10 AM.
