Penn College Men's Golf Concludes Season at National Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Penn College men’s golf team concluded its season at the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship for the fourth consecutive year on Wednesday played at Mission Resort Golf Club. The Wildcats placed 39th in the field of 43, unable to make the top-18 cut mark.

After playing just seven holes on Tuesday before the first round was suspended due to weather, The Wildcats shot an opening-round 24-over-par 308 on the par-71, 6,820-yard Mission Resort Los Colinas course as play resumed Wednesday morning. On Wednesday afternoon, the team finished with a 36-over 324 on the par-72, 6,778-yard El Campeon course for a 632 total.

Individually, Chase Dillman led the team with a 13-over 156 total (73-83). Following were Brady Handy at 15-over 158 (75-83), Gunner Redmond 16-over 159 (79-80) and Logan Gawlinski 16-over 159 (81-78), and Brett Keenan 32-over 175 (83-92).
