Men's Basketball 2022-23 Season Preview

LATHAM, N.Y. - Men's basketball returns in the United East with all nine squads prepared to take the court.

In 2022, Lancaster Bible College took home both the Regular Season crown but it was Penn State Harrisburg who came away with the Conference Championship trophy. This year, the Championship will take place on Friday, February 24th with the Final coming the following day.

Coach's Outlook: "We return about 97% of our production on both ends of the floor, along with a solid recruiting class that features two transfers. Our non-conference schedule is very tough and will force us to be uncomfortable as we strive to compete at a high level in and out of conference play. We are cautiously optimistic that we can grow into a very good team and compete for a conference tournament play-off berth and championship.?"

Coach's Outlook: "We are excited about the return of 10 players from last year's team! However we know that there is needed improvement as a group if we expect to compete for a conference play-off spot. This core accounted for 67 of our 77 ppg and we expect them to set the tone for us early. We also anticipate our recruiting class to factor in for us this season as we added much needed size at every position. We added 4 transfers that we expect to have an impact for us early in the year, and we have several first year players that will be factors during the course of the season.?"
