Giants & Falcons to Meet in Field Hockey Final

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Field Hockey Championship Final is set after Keystone College and Cedar Crest College both came away with semifinal wins Wednesday evening. The two sides will square off in the Final at 2 pm on Saturday in La Plume, Pa.
 

#1 Keystone College def. #4 Lancaster Bible College, 10-0 - Box Score

The Giants controlled the contest the entire way through as six different players registered a goal on the night. Maria Tomada led the pack as she cashed in four goals while also tallying an assist. Vicky Mainero was the other multi-goal scorer as she notched a pair. Miranda Mascia was the primary distributor as she dished out four helpers to go along with her lone goal and Angelina Morley finished the contest with a goal and two assists.

#2 Cedar Crest College def. #3 Wilson College, 2-1 (OT) - Box Score

Adriana Hinkle played the role of hero for the Falcons, scoring on a turnaround attempt from roughly 20 feet out. The senior notched the goal just 1:23 into the overtime period, breaking the 1-1 tie. Hinkle also picked up an assist on the earlier score, feeding Carly Piciullo in the second quarter. Brea Kelso was the goal scorer for Wilson, picking up her tally in the third
