LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Penn College was crowned the 2023 United East Men’s Golf Champions Saturday after a long day of golf at Clinton County Club in Lock Haven Pa. This marks the first title for the Wildcats wince they won the NEAC title in 2019.

With weather pushing both 18-hole rounds to a single day, 44 golfers competed tough throughout the 36-hole rainy day. After the first round, Penn College led the pack carding a team score of 307. The Wildcats maintained the lead through the second round as Peyton Mussina turned in the lowest score of the day with a 70 (-3).
Josh Africa of Penn State Harrisburg had the lowest two round score as he finished the day shooting a 72 (-1) in the first round and 71(-2) in round two. He’d be crowned the Golfer of the Year for that performance.
Lancaster Bible College’s Jake Rotelle was tabbed the Rookie of the Year as he finished the day shooting a 75 (+2) in the opening round and a 71 (-2) in the second.
