Gallaudet's Worley Earns Academic All-America Nod

AUSTIN, Texas - Brielle Worley of the Gallaudet University’s women’s volleyball team earned Academic All-America honors as named by the College Sports Communicators for her 2024 season. Worley was tabbed to the Third Team.

Worley has headlined a number of awards ceremonies this year as she displayed dominance across not only the conference, but also Division III all season long. The UT-Tyler transfer was an offensive powerhouse as she led the country in both total kills (579) and total points (649). Her kills per set (4.95) was also ranked third in the nation while her hitting percentage finished at 34th (.349).

Part of the United East Champion Bison squad, Worley also saw plenty of individual accolades. The outside earned AVCA All-American honor mention honoree also collected First Team All-Region honors as well as being named the United East Offensive Player of the Year.

Her work on the court matched her output in the classroom as she posted a perfect 4.00 in Business Administration.
