LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for November 3, 2025.  Today will include Players of the Week from Women's Volleyball.
This week’s selections included contests through Sunday, November 2.  A total of two student-athletes from two different member institutions were recognized for their performances.

Offensive Player of the Week
Brielle Worley / SR / Gallaudet University / Amarillo, Texas / Amarillo
Gallaudet University outside hitter Brielle Worley had a monster game against Lancaster Bible College on the road last week. The junior tallied a double-double with 20 kills and 12 digs as the Bison won, 3-1, to secure the regular-season championship with a perfect 10-0 mark. Worley added two blocks in the four-set win and posted a .246 hitting percentage.
This is the fourth weekly award of the season for Worley and her 10th overall (10/20/25, 9/29/25, 9/1/25, 10/28/24, 10/21/24, 10/14/24, 9/30/24, 9/16/24, 9/9/24)
Defensive Player of the Week
Brynn Atkins / JR / Penn State Abington / Morristown, N.J. / Morristown
In a 1-1 week, including 1-0 in the United East, Atkins totaled 11 blocks and in the process became the program's all-time leader in solo blocks.  In the regular season finale, Atkins tied her career-high with eight total blocks, including six solo and two block assists.  With her six solo blocks against the Phoenix, Atkins became the program's all-time leader in solo blocks with 68 surpassing Andia Anderson who totaled 64 solo blocks from 2015-2018.  Atkins now holds the all-time marks in all three blocking categories with 68 solo blocks, 99 block assists and 167 total blocks.
This is Atkins' first ever weekly accoalde.
