United East Athletes of the Week - December 22, 2025

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for December 22, 2025.  Today will include Players of the Week from Men's and Women's Basketball.

This week’s selections included contests through Sunday, December 21.  A total of four student-athletes from four different member institutions were recognized for their performances.

 
Men’s Basketball

Offensive Player of the Week
Ricardo Ross / JR / Notre Dame of Maryland University / Alexandria, Va. / T.C. Williams 

Ross played a large roll in teh Gators going 2-0 in play against Division III opponents this week and 2-1 in total. The junior was deadly accuarate as he shot above 50% in all three contests and 58% froom the field overall. In the week opener against Washington College, Ross scored 21 including 3-for-3 from 3-point land. He backed that up with 13 and 18 point perfomances against Division I Towson and Alvernia, respectively. In addition to his scoring, the Alexandria, Va. native did well to distribute as he racked up 10 assists through the three contests.

This is Ross' first ever weekly accoalde.

Defensive Player of the Week
Dylan Moore / JR / Penn State Harrisburg / Washington D.C. / DC International School

Dylan Moore was one of the catalysts for Penn State Harrisburg going 1-1 against a pair of NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago at the John Carroll Classic over the weekend. The junior nearly helped the Lions upset the hosts on Saturday as he racked up game-highs of five steals and three blocks to go along with 17 points and seven rebounds in a narrow 79-76 setback. The Washington, D.C. native followed it up with three more steals and another rejection, as well as 18 points and four boards, in a double-digit victory over Pitt Bradford the next day. Thanks to Moore's efforts, Penn State Harrisburg held a Pitt Bradford team averaging more than 90 points per game this season to just 64 on Sunday. For the weekend, he averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, four steals and two blocks per contest.

Women’s Basketball

Offensive Player of the Week
Natalie Greene / FY / Gallaudet University / Fresno, Texas / Willowridge

Gallaudet University first-year forward/center Natalie Greene continues to be a force for the Bison in each and every game as she set new career-high marks. Greene finished last week’s game at Randolph College with a career best 25 points to go with eight rebounds. Greene went 9-for-14 from the free-throw line, which is a new high mark in a GU uniform for the first-year player.

This is Greene's first ever weekly accoalde.


Defensive Player of the Week
Leah Laubach / SO / Wilson College / Marietta, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic

Laubach paced the Wilson defense with a pair of double-doubles in a pair of games in Puerto Rico. She opened up with 10 points and 10 rebounds with a stealas she helped the Phoenix knockoff the Marymount Saints 65-50. She added 11 points and 10 rebounds as Wilson fell to the high-powered Franklin Grizzlies. She now has five double-doubles on the year.
