Men's Golf 4/26/2025 8:30:00 PM Penn College Wins Team Title; LBC's Rotelle Takes Individuals Honors CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Penn College captured its third-consecutive Men’s Golf title as the Wildcats shot the low score at the 2025 United East Championship this weekend. This year’s event was hosted by Wilson College and the Chambersburg Country Club. Penn College has earned the automatic qualifier and will now represent the United East at the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf National Championships. The 2025 championships will be held from May 20-23 in the Rochester, N.Y. region with St. John Fisher University, Visit Rochester, Midvale Country Club, and Cobblestone Creek Country Club on hosting duties. For the full results - CLICK HERE Lancaster Bible’s Jake Rotelle took home the individual honors as the junior led the field with a 152 (+6) to win the individual medal by two strokes over Peyton Moyer from Penn State Berks. Rotelle avoided trouble all day on Saturday in wet and windy conditions, finishing one-over-par securing not only the individual honors but also low round of the day. Rotelle finished third in last year’s United East Championships. Penn College held an eight-shot lead after Day One (+32, 324) and comfortably held on to the top spot after a +34 (326) final round to take home the team title. The Wildcats finished with a 650 (+64) on the weekend with three players finishing in the Top 10 on the individual standings. Last year’s Golfer of the Year, Peyton Mussina, finished tied for 3rd overall with Day One leader and teammate, Will Orwig, who each posted identical a +12 (158) scores on the weekend. Gunner Redmond finished T-7 with a +21 (167). Penn State Berks came in second in the team standings with a total score of 671 (+87) after two consistent rounds of 336 and 335, respectively. Berks was led by Peyton Moyer’s second place finish individually after the first year posted consecutive rounds of 77 to finish +8 on the weekend. Rob Pasquarella (+25) and Kolin Gregoesky (+29) both finished in the All-Conference standings to bolster the team scoring for Berks. Rutgers-Camden had a strong final round to finish in third place as a team, finishing two shots in front of Penn State Harrisburg. Camden was led by Reid Walker’s sixth-place finish (+17) while Santino Leone (+23), Andrew Slattery (+24), and Pearse Lee (+28) all finished in All-Conference positions.
