PENFIELD, N.Y. - After a weather-soaked final two rounds, Penn College’s Peyton Mussina wrapped up his run at the 2025 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship played at Midvale Country Club. Mussina finished the event at a 302 (+14) which placed him in a tie for 49th place.

For the second-time in as many years, Mussina made the cut as an individual at the NCAA Championships, holding fourth place after two rounds. On Thursday, he began the day with a birdie but that was the only one he’d card as he finished at a 79 (+7) for the rain-dowsed round. In order to avert worse weather on Friday, the fourth round began on Thursday afternoon, where he’d play 11 holes before daylight weaned.
Mussina’s fourth and final round resumed midday on Friday and he’d birdie on his second hole but finished at a 78 (+6).
Mussina’s finish is the second-best in conference history, topped only by his 17th-place finish at last year’s NCAA Championships. This year’s winner was Edward Coffren from the University of Lynchburg who carded a four-round score of 280 (-8).
