LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Conference is excited to announce a new collaboration with Mindflow, a leader in mental health support tailored to the needs of student-athletes and athletic departments. This forward-thinking partnership reflects the conference’s ongoing dedication to fostering environments where student-athletes can thrive both on and off the field.
Mindflow is a mental health and mental performance platform created by former athletes specifically for student-athletes and athletic departments. In addition to providing student-athletes and coaches with virtual access to highly specialized sport psychologists, Mindflow also offers expert-led mental health training.
Developed by their Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. David Sacks, the Five Pillars Training delivers comprehensive, practical education on the psychological factors that impact individual and team performance—enhancing participants’ knowledge, skills, and mindset around sport psychology and mental health. As part of the partnership, the United East will participate in Mindflow’s Five Pillars Training by bringing together a conference cohort with representatives from all 15 member institutions to participate in three one-day trainings during the 2025-26 academic year.
“With mental health and wellness being a priority for our student-athletes and staff, the United East Conference is proud to announce our collaboration with Mindflow,” said United East Commissioner Stephanie Dutton. “In evaluating potential partners, Anthony’s dedication and passion in supporting student-athletes and athletic staff is so clearly evident in Mindflow’s willingness to build a partnership that truly meets our conference’s unique needs. We cannot wait to begin our work with the Mindflow team to enhance our support for our member institutions and student-athletes.”
This initiative underscores the United East’s commitment to holistic student-athlete development, creating space for proactive mental health conversations and equipping campus leaders with tools to better support their communities.
“We are beyond thrilled to partner with such a distinguished conference like the United East,” Anthony Faraino, CEO & Co-Founder of Mindflow, shared. “In just one conversation, it's clear how great of a leader Stephanie is and how much she truly cares for her member institutions. That in mind, it's no surprise that she would choose to equip the United East's institutions with Mindflow's Five Pillars Training."
