Seahawks Earn Spot in Men's Soccer Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s soccer team broke into the Regional Rankings as distributed by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday. St. Mary’s College comes in at No. 8 in this week’s rankings.

The Seahawks came out of the week with a tie and a win, helping improve their record to 3-3-1 on the early season. The squad pulled out a come-from-behind, 3-3 draw with Johns Hopkins University (receiving votes in the National Poll) on Wednesday before upending Stevenson University, 2-1, in a Saturday road match. 

The Seahawks currently sit at 12 goals scored this season, ranking them top amongst their fellow United East teams.

St. Mary’s College will return to play this upcoming Saturday as the team hosts Bridgewater College for a 5 p.m. tilt.
