The Chargers had a successful end to the regular season, finishing up with two key conference wins that earned them the title of Regular Season Champions. Lancaster Bible started with a midweek 99-93 win over Notre Dame of Maryland University before upending Penn State Harrisburg 77-54 on the road on Saturday. The Chargers ended the regular season with a record of 19-6 and 11-2 in conference play.
Defense is a key to Coach Mack’s program as they force the fourth-most turnovers in all of Division III (22.96 per game). Camden Hurst and Connor Storr have played a large roll in that number as the two lead the conference in steals with 52 and 50, respectively.
Lancaster Bible will return to action again on Saturday for the quarterfinal match up on their home court. The squad will take on the winner of #8 Wilson College vs #9 Penn State Berks.
