Home Courts Hold in Men's Basketball Championship Quarterfinals

LATHAM, N.Y. -  All four of the top seeds defended their home courts during the 2025 United East Men’s Basketball quarterfinal round on Saturday. The scores of the game were as follows:

#1 Lancaster Bible College def. #8 Wilson College, 117-72

#2 Penn State Brandywine def. Keystone College, 69-63

#3 Cairn University def. Penn State Abington, 105-73

#4 Penn State Harrisburg def. #5 Notre Dame of Maryland University, 85-70

The four remaining teams will now compete in the semifinals which will be played on Tuesday. Lancaster Bible will host Harrisburg  while Brandywine will welcome Cairn to town. Find all the details about those contests on the tournament website here: TOURNAMENT PAGE
 

#1 Lancaster Bible College def. #8 Wilson College, 117-72 (BOX SCORE)

The offense was on fire for the Chargers as they shot 57.1% from the field and 56.0% from beyond the arc. A total of 14 different players registered a point on the night, none more than Camden Hurst who led all scorers with 22 points. Trey Grube had a night from 3-point land as all 15 of his points came by way of the three ball. The team racked up 27 assists on the night as well, including five from Connor Storr and four from Daniel King.

Jalen Bowie notched a double-double for the Phoenix, scoring 14 and picking up 11 boards. Armani Jones led the squad with 16 points
 

#2 Penn State Brandywine def. Keystone College, 69-63 (BOX SCORE)

This contest was a defensive battle with neither team able to create much sepeartion throughout the first half. That would spill into the second half until roughly the seven minute mark where back-to-back scoring possesions gave Brandywine its first double-digit lead of the game. Keystone would press until the final whistle but some clutch free throws from the Nittany Lions sealed any chance of a comeback.

Corwin Hollad II and Ja'bri White were the top scorers for Brandywine as they totaled 18 and 16, respectively. Ahmaar Godhania also pitched in 12 from off the bench. Amari Little did his best to distribute the rock as he came away with five dimes on the evening. 

Jden Golding and PJ Murphy were the main source of offense for the Giants as they finished with 22 and 21 points, respectively
 

#3 Cairn University def. Penn State Abington, 105-73 (BOX SCORE)

The duo of Corey Baldwin and Jaylon Simpson were unstoppable on the day as the two combined 61 points. Baldwin collected a game-high 32 with 24 of them coming from 3-pointers. Simpson followed suit with 29 points, including six 3’s. Chris Hill picked up five dimes in the contest while Andre Burrell Jr. notched a team-leading 11 boards.

Tyler Fox did his best to try and steal the win for Abington as he finished the contest with 29 points. JoJo Kelly added 15 points.
 

#4 Penn State Harrisburg def. #5 Notre Dame of Maryland University, 85-70 (BOX SCORE)

It was a team effort that led the Lions to victory as all 11 players to hit the floor scored a point. Jordan Spencer led the charge as he notched 24 while Chris Henderson was the only other player to hit double-digits as he registered 11. Andre Thomas controlled the action on the floor as he ended with eight assists and eight points. 

Jahbresco Dacosta had a solid outing for the Gators as he ended the game with a team-high 15 points and 14 boards.
