LATHAM, N.Y. - The semifinal round of the 2026 United East Men’s Basketball Championship concluded on Tuesday evening with Penn State Harrisburg and Penn State Brandywine punching their tickets to the Final. #4 Harrisburg upset top-seeded Lancaster Bible College, 72-57, in one matchup while #3 Cairn University produced the second upset of the night, defeating #2 Penn State Brandywine, 81-77.
Cairn will now host Penn State Harrisburg for Saturday’s Final with the winner earning the United East crown and punching their ticket to the NCAA Championship. That game will tip off at 2 PM

#4 Penn State Harrisburg def. #1 Lancaster Bible College, 72-57 (BOX SCORE)
It was a tale of two halves as the Chargers pulled into the intermission with a 36-29 lead over Harrisburg. The Lions flipped the script in the second half though, opening on a 25-5 run through the first 10 minutes. That lead would hold to the end, giving the Lions an opportunity to claim their first crown since the 2023-24 season.
Offense was evenly distributed through the Lions roster with four players going for double-digits. Jordan Spencer racked up 12 points while Kevin Lucas Jr matched that coming off of the bench. Antwone George did a little bit of everything as he scored 11 points, corralled eight boards and dished out a pair of assists.
Connor Storr was the leading scorer on the court as he finished with 18 points for Lancaster Bible.
#3 Cairn University def. #2 Penn State Brandywine, 81-77 (BOX SCORE)
Another semifinal was decided in the second half as once again, the lower seed found more fuel in the tank. Brandywine took a 44-33 lead into the but Cairn came out of the halftime with the offense clicking and went on an 18-4 run over the first eight minutes. They took the lead at that movement and were able to stave off a late Brandywine run to earn a spot in the Final.
Corey Baldwin was all over the court for the Highlanders, scoring 23 points, picking up 13 boards and assisting five baskets. He also notched four steals and a block on the defensive end. He wasn’t without help though as four of the five starters finished in double-digits. Ron Ayers dropped 16 points, Jaylon Simpson 15 and Chris Hill 13. As a team, Cairn dominated from the charity stripe as they scored 32 points there.
Brandywine was led by Corwin Holland II who was one board shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
