The toss was good enough for sixth in the region and she’d later go on to take gold in the event at the Conference Championships.
Schleig had a banner year in her first collegiate campaign which culminated in her earning Rookie of the Year honors at the United East Championships. Her top mark in the triple jump came at the George Mason Patriot Games in which she hopped 11.15m. This leap ranked fourth in the Region.
