Penn State Harrisburg Concludes Season in First Round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship

MEDFORD, MA - The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team fell in a hard-fought battle against Tufts University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. 

Tufts University def. Penn State Harrisburg, 65-60 (BOX SCORE)

Penn State Harrisburg fell to Tufts University, 65–60, despite a strong effort from the Lions throughout the contest. Harrisburg stayed within striking distance in the first half, battling defensively and keeping pace with Tufts before heading into the locker room trailing 27–21. Tufts opened the second half with a surge, extending its advantage to as many as 14 points, but the Lions responded with a determined run to climb back into the game. Harrisburg continued to chip away at the deficit and cut the lead to three points with 1:16 remaining, but Tufts was able to hold on down the stretch to secure the victory.

Chris Henderson led Harrisburg with 20 points, three rebounds, and two assists, while Jordan Spencer added 16 points and five rebounds. Andre Thomas added 11 points. Penn State Harrisburg concludes their season with the United East crown and an 18-11 record.
