United East Athletes of the Week - April 28, 2026

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for the week of  April 28, 2026.  Today will include four selections from men's and women's outdoor track & field for the final Athletes of the Week of the 2025-26 campaign. 

This week’s selections included contests through Sunday, April 26.  Student-athletes from Cedar Crest College and St. Mary's College of Maryland were recognized for their performances.
 

Women’s Outdoor Track & Field

Field Athlete of the Week
Bella Bozen / SR / Cedar Crest College / Lockport, Ill. / Lockport Township

Bozen recorded two top-three finishes at the Blue Jay Tune-Up. She broke her own program record in the discus with a mark of 36.75 meters, taking third. Bozen then took third the javelin with a throw of 31.78 meters. 

This is Bozen's first career Field Athlete of the Week and the third Athlete of the week award in her career with two women's soccer selections (09/04/23, 10/16/23)
 

Track Athlete of the Week
Gracie Tourangeau / SO / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Sykesville, Md. / Century

Gracie Tourangeau anchored the record-setting 4x400m relay (3:58.39), which qualified for the 4x400m College Eastern finals with their sixth-place finish in the College Eastern heats at the prestigious Penn Relays. Tourangeau clocked a 58.55 split as the anchor.

This is Tourangeau's first United East weekly accolade of her career.



Men’s Outdoor Track & Field

Track Athlete of the Week
Collin Fitzgerald / JR / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Annapolis, Md. / Broadneck

Collin Fitzgerald ran the second leg of the record-setting 4x400m relay at the Penn Relays (3:22.15) as the Seahawks placed 12th in the College Eastern heats. Fitzgerald clocked a 47.22 split.

This is Fitzgerald's third United East weekly accolade of his career in outdoor. (4/16/2024, 4/23/2024)
 

Field Athlete of the Week
Zack Kralec / SR / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Monkton, Md. / Hereford HS

Zack Kralec tied for seventh in the pole vault with 4.72m at the Penn Relays. Kralec was the only D3 athlete to finish in the Top 10, which featured pole vaulters from Army, Penn, Dartmouth, Bryant, Clemson, Penn State, Bucknell and Binghamton.

This is Kralec's third career United East weekly accolade in outdoor. (3/19/24, 1/23/24)
