United East Announces 2025-26 Team Academic Awards

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East is proud to announce the Team Academic Awards for 2025-26 academic year.  This is the fourth year that the league will be awarding these acknowledgements.  Each United East-sponsored program that achieved a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher during this academic year will be acknowledged. 

This season, 104 teams across the United East earned this honor. Lancaster Bible College, Penn State Harrisburg and St. Mary's College of Maryland led all members with 13 programs collecting Team Academic Honors. They were followed by the University of Valley Forge which earned nine honors.  

Cairn University's Women's Cross Country team earned the highest single team GPA, recording a 3.86. On the men's side, Penn State Berks Men's Tennis record the highest GPA with a mark of 3.81. Everyone of United East sponsored sports had at least one team earn the award.
