SUNY Cobleskill Claims 2019 NEAC Women's Cross Country Title
LATHAM, N.Y. - For the first time since 2016, SUNY Cobleskill are North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Cross Country Champions. The Fighting Tigers had five of the top 8 finishers.

The Fighting Tigers scored 26 points to win the team title by 54 over Keuka College.
Freshman Ashley Kubat (Sloansville, N.Y.) paced SUNY Cobleskill with a second-place finish in a time of 24:53.8. Natalie Honken (Endicott, N.Y.), Shania Steria (Booneville, N.Y.), Emily Pahl (Schenectady, N.Y.), and Victoria Stopen (Marcellus, N.Y.) were the scoring finishers for the Fighting Tigers. Head coach Mitch Tomaszkiewicz picked up NEAC Coach of the Year honors. Kubat earned Rookie of the Year honors.
Michelle Kiss (Lebanon, Pa.) of Penn State Berks won the race and was named Runner of the Year after clocking a 24:44.2.
Keuka was led by Aubrey O'Connor (Middlesex, N.Y.), who finished in ninth with a time of 27:17.3. Four other Wolves finished in the top 21.
Lancaster Bible College (96 points), Penn State Berks (124), and SUNY Poly (142) rounded out the top five.
First, second and third-team All-Conference selections were determined by the individual finish times at the championship race. The top 21 runners receive all-conference honors with seven members on each team in the order they completed the race.
